														The Finnish Illustration Association promotes the status of Finnish illustration and supports illustrators in their profession. The association awards grants and awards, organizes events and training, publishes the magazine Kuvittaja and presents recent phenomena in the illustration field at the Galleria Kuvitus in the lively district of Kallio, Helsinki.
Established in 2018, Galleria Kuvitus is the very first gallery in Finland that focuses on illustration and the related topical phenomena. The gallery presents a total of nine curated illustration exhibitions each year. The exhibition program concentrates on contemporary illustration.

Mon–Wed closed, Thu–Fri 12–17, Sat–Sun 12–16
The venue is on the ground floor, but there are steps and a thresholds at the entrances. Guide and assistance dogs, as well as other dogs, are welcome to the gallery! The gallery exhibition texts are available in Finnish, Swedish, English, Belarusian, Russian, Ukrainian and Arabic (Palestinian dialect). Our staff is happy to assist with any accessibility matters!
