Gallery Week Finland 2025 will reach from Äkäslompolo to Helsinki, with 74 galleries participating in August

Gallery Week spreads to 74 galleries across Finland. The programme consists of art exhibitions and other events open to the public from 26 to 31 August 2025.
A total of 74 galleries from across the country will participate in Gallery Week Finland 2025. The inaugural event will be held from 26 to 31 August 2025, after which it will take place annually. The programme consists of exhibitions and other events that are free and open to the public in galleries across Finland.
All art galleries and similar exhibition spaces in Finland with regularly changing exhibitions and regular opening hours were invited to register for Gallery Week Finland.
The participants, including artist-run galleries, association galleries and private galleries, reflect the diverse and vibrant gallery scene in Finland. The event will take place in 24 cities across Finland, from Äkäslompolo to Helsinki and from Vaasa to Joensuu.

The project is organised by the Artists’ Association MUU, the Association of Finnish Sculptors, the Association of Finnish Printmakers, the Finnish Painters’ Union and the Association of Photographic Artists. Gallery Week Finland is launched with support from the Arts Promotion Centre Finland.
