Kuopio media art festival

During the Kuopio media art festival, KUMMA, GalleriA, and Gallery Ars Libera transform into spaces where lights, sounds, installations, videos, animations, and interactive works stimulate visitors’ senses. In addition to the exhibitions, the programme includes, among other things, media art screenings, workshops, and events.

The Kuopio Media Art Festival is organized in collaboration by KUMMA, the Kuopio Artists’ Association – Ars Libera, the Artists’ Association MUU ry, and the Photography and Media Art Association Valmed ry. The Jenny and Antti Wihuri Foundation has supported the festival through its Partner Museum Programme.

Gallery Ars Libera presents Maippi Ketola & Meri Hietala work Meri and Maippi Are Playing. Gallery Ars Libera has free entry.
