Tiina Wallin: La isla de la eterna primavera

In media space Pimento:

La isla de la eterna primavera – The Island of eternal spring is a series of images that takes the eye away from the touristy beaches of Tenerife and presents the island, which is teeming with mass tourism, in picturesque postcard images. Mass tourism, which is driving many regions around the world into distress, always tests the carrying capacity of the region’s nature. Wallin’s series of images presents the island’s delicate and beautiful nature, and provokes the reader to reflect on their own travel and consumption habits and motives.

Tiina Wallin (b.1983) is a photographer from Oulu. In her work, she explores humanity, phenomena, identity and the environment.

The exhibition is part of the Oulu2026 cultural program and cultural climate change.
