Iines Jakovlev: Eggshell Ceramics – Experimental Biomaterial Workshop
What can be made from eggshells? In this workshop, food waste is transformed into a new, mouldable biomaterial made from eggshells. We will use the Eggshell Ceramics recipe from the book Mainiot materiaalit as the basis for creating the material.
Participants can freely shape the material into different forms, figures and objects. The workshop offers an experimental introduction to biomaterial design, material-making and creative practice. No previous experience is required – curiosity is enough!
