Art Space Mari

Art Space Mari is a new pop-up art space located in the heart of Tapiola, Espoo, and managed by Espoo Artists’ Association (Espoon Kuvataiteilijat ry). It provides a low-threshold exhibition and event venue for artists and arts organizations in Espoo. The project began in August 2026 and will run until January 2028.

The art space serves as an easily accessible and free platform for a wide range of exhibitions, events and spontaneous projects. Its central location in Tapiola makes it possible to reach a broad audience and brings new, alternative forms of artistic activity to the area.

Art Space Mari brings together practitioners and audiences from different fields, creating a diverse and participatory space for cultural encounters. Its multidisciplinary programme combines visual art, film, arts education and music, creating new audiences and fostering interaction between different art forms. Project partners include Espoo Cine, Espoo School of Visual Arts and Ateljeesäätiö.
