Thicket – difficult to traverse, hard to navigate, but with determination, it is possible to find ways through.

A physical thicket asks a person to put on their rubber boots and make their way through. A mental thicket asks a person to quiet down, remove distractions, and find a way through. A thicket can also be a place that invites you to simply be present — you don’t have to go anywhere; you can just be — because you cannot get through.
