Critical Gallery is located in Taiteen talo (House of Art) in Turku, Finland. The gallery was founded by artists Minna Havukainen, Teemu Mäki and Susanna Vuorio.
Critical Gallery presents politically active art, but not mere illustrations of political views; rather, it’s art that explores social and philosophical themes as impartially as possible, questioning everything. In addition to exhibitions, Critical Gallery also organizes events.
Critical Gallery does not charge artists exhibition fees or any other fees, instead, it pays them an exhibition fee.
