Ilkka Sariola, Tomas Luoto (Aseman lapset ry), Teemu Mäki (Kriittinen Galleria): CRITICAL CLUB: THE SOCIAL STATUS OF PEOPLE WITH SUBSTANCE USE DISORDERS
The topic of the Critical Club meeting, to be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at the Critical Gallery, is the social status of people with substance use disorders, as well as how substance use disorders and people who use substances are viewed and treated in our society.
The discussion — in Finnish only, sorry — will take place in conjunction with Ilkka Sariola’s exhibition SPES PACIS – HOPE FOR PEACE. The social status of people with substance use disorders is one of the themes Sariola explores in his art.
The discussion at Kriittinen Klubi will feature director Tomas Luoto from Aseman Lapset, the exhibition’s artist Ilkka Sariola, and Teemu Mäki representing Critical Gallery.
The event is open to the public and free of charge. Welcome!
