Galleria K
Galleria K, built in 1957, is the former main library of Vantaa. It was designed by architects Olli and Eija Saijonmaa. It is located next to the City Hall in the centre of Tikkurila, just a couple of minutes’ walk from the train station. During the renovation of the City Hall in 2013, the building was transformed into a gallery.
It is now home to the Vantaa Artists’ Association’s art lending shop, where you can buy or rent works by its members. There are paintings, sculptures, graphics, photographic prints, textiles, and jewellery. Other items for sale include cards, books, and calendars.
