Galleriaia
Galleriaia is a private, non-profit space for contemporary art and culture located in Kallio, Helsinki. It was founded in 2025 and is run by four arts and culture professionals.
The gallery’s operations are guided by a commitment to the principles of social responsibility and the creation of fair practices within the art sector. Galleriaia does not charge exhibition fees or other costs, working instead with the artist on a basis of shared responsibility. It aims to provide artists with economically more sustainable and better working conditions.
In addition to visual arts, the space serves as a platform for performance art, literature, and fashion. Alongside its exhibition program, Galleriaia organizes discussions and other event concepts, as well as corporate collaborations.
